China's ocean research vessel, the Dayang Yihao, leaves Zhongqingdaoyuan terminal in Qingdao for a comprehensive sea trial in the South China Sea on Oct 18. The trial will take 32 days and will test the vessel's overall performance and equipped devices, including a ROV underwater robot, an electronic detector and drills. After the trial, the vessel will sail to the Indian Ocean for scientific research from Sanya, a coastal city in South China's Hainan province. [Photo/Xinhua] |
