Olympic champions visit 2014 Qingdao International Horticultural Exposition

The deputy coach – Yu Jie, together with four Chinese athletes, who have won world championships, visited the Botanical Pavilion, Theme Pavilion, International Garden and Chinese Garden.

A group of special guests visited the 2014 Qingdao International Horticultural Exposition on May 8. The guests are members of the National Men's Weightlifting Team who are now in Qingdao for training.

A group of special guests visited the 2014 Qingdao International Horticultural Exposition on May 8.

The four Chinese athletes – Long Qingquan, Liao Hui, Lin Qingfeng and Lv Xiaojun – were accompanied by other team members

I hope it can help the world know more about Qingdao, more about environmental protection and also the theme ‘From the earth, for the Earth'," said Yu Jie.

They were all presented to Qingqing, the Expo's mascot, by the executive committee, and wrote down their best wishes for the Expo on a flag. "I'm so proud that my hometown, Qingdao can hold such a distinguished exposition. I hope it can help the world know more about Qingdao, more about environmental protection and also the theme ‘From the earth, for the Earth'," said Yu Jie.
