The coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province, will hold the 6th International Exhibition on Green Industry in the city’s International Convention Center, on Nov 14-16, including six parts concerning environment protection planning and needs, air pollution prevention, water environment protection, comprehensive environmental services, energy saving and comprehensive utilization of resources and green life.

Sponsored by the Shandong Provincial Government and the Environmental Protection Ministry, with the support of Qingdao’s government, the exhibition themed “developing green agriculture and building ecological civilization” will hold a string of exhibitions, forums and roundtable talks featuring ecological constriction.

The Shandong government has successively held 5 sessions of the International Exhibition on Green Industry biennially since 2004, attended by approximately 3,000 companies and organizations from 24 countries, with an accumulation of 62,000 professional visitors and around 10,000 draft agreements signed. By means of the Green Exhibition, Shandong province has built a long-term environmental protection cooperation mechanism with organizations from South Korea and Japan.
