The coastal city of Qingdao, Eastern China's Shandong province, held the Fushansuo Temple Fair on March 3, according to qingdaonews.com.
Dating back to the early years of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the fair falls on the 13th day of the first lunar month every year. Due to increasingly modern cultural life, the traditional fair went into decline for some time, but was brought back to life in 2011 thanks to the government support.
