In May 2014, Tian, 31, quit his job as a reporter to register a non-profit organization dedicated to providing roadside assistance and services as well as promoting civilized and safe driving in the city.
His enthusiasm for the project won the support of many including local government, the traffic division of the police department and Qingdao Red Cross.
Meanwhile, the project attracted hundreds of drivers to sign up and become members of the organization's professional rescue team.
