Alibaba, the e-commerce giant, will bring its advanced e-commerce ideas and technology to Qingdao, one of China's e-commerce demonstration bases.
Alibaba signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Qingdao government in May to promote in-depth cooperation in cloud computing, cross-border e-commerce, e-commerce development in rural areas, intelligent logistics and e-commerce skills training.
One Touch, an import and export services provider and an Alibaba affiliate, set up its subsidiary in Qingdao in August.
According to the Qingdao municipal bureau of commerce, One Touch will help to reduce the transaction costs of small and medium-sized businesses, solve their trade credit problems, and promote the city's export trade.
In addition, One Touch will also bring to Qingdao Alibaba's advanced services, financing and training systems. The company will cooperate with local import and export service providers to provide improved and tailored services to small and medium-sized firms in Qingdao.
