Yingde, a town in Qingyuan, has been praised as "home of black tea". Black tea from Yingde ranks among the top five national-level black teas of China.

The tea, shown in brilliant red and rich in aroma, has been exported to and been very popular in the Great Britain. It was the tea that the Queen Elizabeth II drank.
