The first Lujiazui Financial City Dragon Boat Race took place on the waters of the Zhangjiabang River in Shanghai's Pudong New Area on June 4. The event aimed to expose one of China's great traditions to more people and further enrich the cultural life of Lujiazui's workers.

In total, 23 teams and more than 300 racers took part in the so-called "fast and furious" event, a 200-meter race along the Zhangjiabang River.
