The Chinese delegation to the upcoming Rio Olympic Games was unveiled at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on July 18. China will send 416 athletes, including five from Shanxi province, to the Games.

Trampolinist Dong Dong will become the only athlete in Shanxi to have attended three consecutive Olympic Games.
Dong has been one of the top trampolinists in China over the past ten years. He won a gold medal at the London Olympics four years ago, the first athlete to win a gold medal in an individual sport in the history of Shanxi. He was also a bronze medalist in the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.
The leading player on the national team, Dong has won medals at the Olympic Games, World Championships, Asian Games and National Games.
Dong hopes that he can continue his success and become the defending champion of the Rio Olympics.

Wang Zhiwei, a shooter who won a bronze medal in London in 2012, won the gold medal in the World Cup in 2013 and became the first shooting world champion from Shanxi.
He aims to fight for his dream of an Olympic Games championship in Rio.
