At the ceremony, Jiao Chenbai, the vice-general manager, delivered a speech, in which he wished that the ancestors take care of people's well-being.
There were also performances as actors danced, sang and played drums, presenting a colorful performance to all who attended. In the end, the ceremony drew to a close by giving people a special offering, a kind of cake cooked on heated stones.
