Fu Haiyun, one of Shanxi province's premier dough modeling artists has recently completed an epic recreation of a traditional Qingming Festival celebration, with thousands of intricately crafted and beautifully colored dough figurines.
With more than 30 years of dough modeling under her belt, Fu first began working on her latest creation in 2014. After three years and more than 1,600 figures and over 200 animals created, Fu's "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival" was finally complete.
