This temple, at the southern end of the village of Dongzhuang, was built in the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127) and rebuilt during the 34th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1908), and was gifted to the 13th Dalai Lama and became one of the 10 Shaman Temples on Wutai.
This Wutai Mountain site is a Shaman temple built in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), when the Shunzhi emperor was said to have been a monk here.
This temple, also known as Guang'an, is on the eastern bank of the Qingshui River in the town of Taihuai at the northern entrance of Ming-and-Qing St.
Wutai Temple is in the town of Doucun and is the first temple to welcome you after you enter Buddhist site on Mount Wutai, via the western route.
This temple is the largest on Mount Wutai and one of China's earliest having been built during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD25-220).
This temple, also known as Grandma Temple, is a small one at the north end of Ming-Qing St, but people have come here for hundreds of years, on April 18 on the lunar calendar, from the surrounding areas to pray for peace and the birth of a child.
