Ancient woods protected in Mountain Taishan
2016-01-29

A team of employees have set to work to protect the ancient woods in the tourist resort of Mountain Taishan in Tai'an City, Shandong province, Tai'an Daily reported on Jan 27.

The workers, from the administrative committee of Mount Tai, are taking measures to protect the rare trees in the resort, some of which are world heritage listed, from the severe weather this winter.

The team will thoroughly check and clear the woods of snow and ice and establish records for trees that have been damaged or have fallen over.
