In the late of May, Yunnan Provincial Museum signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Vietnam History Museum by Ma Wendou, the leader of Yunnan Provincial Museum Ma Wendou, curator of the Yunnan Provincial Museum, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on May 22 with the Vietnam History Museum during his visit to Vietnam.

Both sides have reached an agreement to cooperate in cultural heritage exhibitions, relic protection, reproduction and restoration, personnel training and information sharing. They will promote joint studies on specific cultural fields and co-publish books on museums and cultural heritages.

In addition, a special exhibition showcasing Vietnam's cultural heritage will be held in new museum of Yunan Provincial Museum, in order to give local residents a better understanding of Vietnam.
