Yunnan promotes tourism in Kuala Lumpur

Recently, the Yunnan government held a meeting in Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur to boost its tourism industry. An agreement had reached with Kuala Lumpur to develop cross border tourist routes and boost mutual tourist product sales.
Both parties will also encourage their travel agencies to cooperate and invite media to strengthen tourism promotion.
In 2012, 250,000 tourists traveled from Malaysia to Yunnan, up 15.27 percent year-on-year, ranking third among all countries outside China. Chinese tourists to Malaysia had reached 1.56 million.
