The 2013 Thailand Festival was held on May 4 in Kunming city, and it was the sixth time that the event was chosen to be held in the city.

The six-day event was sponsored by the Thailand Consulate-General in Kunming and displayed various Thai art performances, snacks, handicrafts, and tourism and education programs.

This year, the festival featured exquisite Thai specialties, including clothes, accessories, souvenirs and processed fruits, all made by Thai-based companies. Various Thai events and festivals are held in Kunming every year to further promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation.
