Taetea Group produces organic foods such as Pu'er tea, which has been certified by Ecocert, an organic certification organization. Its products are sold in the US, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, several European countries and Hong Kong and Taiwan. The techniques involved in the production of Taetea are included in the national intangible cultural heritage list. In 2010, Taetea Group became the official tea supplier of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. It is the first time that the Chinese tea company has successfully sponsored a large-scale international comprehensive sports event.
