Horse paintings on display in Times Square

A series of horse paintings drawn by Chinese artist Yuan Xikun were exhibited in New York's Times Square, known as the "crossroads of the world," from Dec 29, 2013, to Jan 1, 2014.
2014 is the Year of the Horse according to the Chinese lunar calendar.
Broadcast on the LED screen in Times Square for three days, the series of horse paintings are Chinese brush drawings. They are titled Horse Brings Blessings, Horse Brings Victory and God is Coming. The painter Yuan Xikun combined all kinds of drawing techniques and materials to create works that are dynamic and static, harmonious and aggressive.
Being one of the most recognized Chinese artists in the world, Yuan has been invited to draw sketches with Chinese brush for more than 150 political figures. His work has been collected by museums in many different countries.
