Short films on Yunnan culture were screened in Kunming on Nov 7, yunnan.cn reported.

Three shorts were shown, and production teams discussed their inspirations with the audience. They discussed animation, plots and creative advertisements.

The salon was sponsored by yunnan.cn and zuiyunnan, an app that provides information about tourism in Yunnan. The activity hopes to encourage original films in Yunnan via the Internet.

Sponsors began collecting films in August and three short films stood out from over 40, based on online votes the panel of judges’ reviews.
