Yunnan's first electronic sports competition tour, featuring an "e-sport girls" competition, a poker game, and the electronic game Legends, opened in Kunming on June 20. It brought with it tourism products with a value of 5 million yuan ($756,000), setting several records in Yunnan's e-sport history.

The three competitions will be held in sequence. The best "e-sport girls" winners will be known at the end of June, the final of the poker game will be held in early August, and the race for champion of the league of Legends will be on in late August.

The "e-sport girls" applicants can apply online or at the event. People can vote for their favorites after hearing the professional comments of senior film directors, media editors and authorities from the CFLAC.

The electronic sports competition will drive the development of the cultural creative video game industry and that of cartoon games. The tour may become an e-sport brand in southwest China or even perhaps across the country.
