Zhouzhuang, an iconic water town in Jiangsu province, presents different facets of charm at night. Here are a few things visitors could do while touring the water town at night.

Enjoy Kunqu opera and live-action show

Kunqu Opera, one of the oldest forms of Chinese opera, originates from Kunshan, the city in Jiangsu that administers Zhouzhuang.

Visitors to the Pear Garden, formerly known as Zhouzhuang Ancient Opera Stage, are able to enjoy Kunqu Opera every day of the week except Thursday.

In addition to Kunqu opera, they could also enjoy an audiovisual feast, as the latest season of the live-action show Zhouzhuang in Four Seasons returned to stage in the water town of Zhouzhuang on April 1.
