Zhouzhuang Museum

Zhouzhuang Museum, located on Hougang Street, houses a fascinating collection of local utensils, farm tools and pottery unearthed in Zhouzhuang.

Covering an area of over 1,100 square meters, Zhouzhuang Museum was once the residence of the Zhu family in the early years of the Republic of China period (1911-1949). After 1949, the house was used by Zhouzhuang town government, before undergoing renovation in the mid-1990s and opening as a museum in 1998.

Zhenfeng Street

A group of craftsmen on the Zhenfeng Street in Zhouzhaung, are putting their masterful skills to work to prove they are a cut above the rest, in an era where it is often thought mechanization prevails. At the street, visitors could observe those craftsmen making some delicate handicrafts such as tiger-head shoes, olive kernel carvings and so on.
