America will disappoint them

These people made their pile in China and instead of spreading their wealth back into the land and benefiting their brothers and sisters, they find it so necessary to have another "security insurance" - a Green Card...! Thus, it is human nature to look and think that the grass is greener on the other side, which in fact, it isn't. They will be disappointed once they taste the American way.

I want a Green Card in China

I come from England and love China. These people want all the luxuries that money can buy in the US and England. We had the same problem in England and call it greed. Not for material goods these people have but the system that treats the rich like gods. I think the Western education system is better. Chinese are as clever but the education system stops students from reaching their full potential. Other than education, China wins in other ways such as less crime and nicer people. All I can say is that I wish China can have a Green Card because I would like to apply for one.

Transfer their bribe abroad

I think most of these people got their money from corruption like my uncle. They can't spend it in China so they want to move their assets out of the country. The best way is to have their daughters or sons married to us citizens while attending college.

China is better-off without them

It is a great shame and unpatriotic that these people who have become rich in China now want to move elsewhere to spend their wealth. Maybe they think the grass is greener on the other side but they overlook that the other side is having a lot of problems. Don't they know that "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"?

A rising China is still a rising China. It is what the 1.4 billion Chinese do now that will determine China's future. Every one of them must contribute to ensure China's continued rise.

While foreigners flock to China to work, invest and make money to send home, sadly these Chinese intend to move their China-made wealth elsewhere. So how does one rightly categorize these people? Not loyal, unpatriotic, undesirable or traitors?

I hope that those who want to leave are just a small faction of the people. They have made their day and want to live elsewhere as other citizens. Well China is better off without them.
