I'm terribly sorry to read this article. This kind of fierce battle does no good for the development of students. Though some of them are wearing terrible "smoky eyes", they keep on studying all day long without any complaints. What a pity! All in all, Chinese students should be given much more time to develop their own interests but not only study like a machine.

Character is more important

The battle to get in a top school is so fierce that the children have no time to communicate with other boys or girls. As a matter of fact, a good character is what they should try to build.
