On Why foreigners date Chinese women?
Very interesting article, which drew a lot of comments. I have been to China many times, I love the place, I love the food and I also love being among the people of China.
Every time I have been to China I have been treated with nothing but respect and kindness. At the same time I have been told by many of my friends in China that I should have a Chinese wife and that she would make me a happy man.
When you compare Chinese marriages to those of the West, you see the reason why. In Chinese marriages a man or a woman looks to have a relationship with a partner who will always be there, be your best friend, through good times and bad times and be the one you can lean on when you need support. 
This was common in West at one time, but has changed as Western culture becomes increasingly materialistic.
My own mother told me when I was young to never marry a Western woman and to go to a different country and find a wife.
When I ask why, I was told that Western women don't have the values or morals needed for a good marriage that would last a lifetime.
When you look at Chinese culture and Chinese history you begin to learn and you begin to understand. The Western man, or any foreign man, who seeks a wife in China does so because there is something he sees that he cannot find where he is from.
When you take a vacation you do so to see different parts of the world, to enjoy what life is and because you like it. When people move to those places to live, it is because they fell in love with the place and decided to live in the place they love .
The same applies to having a wife from a different country, you decided to marry her because you love her.
It's pretty simple, China has become a great country and power, which brings many different people from all over the world to China.
People are people no matter where they are from, and relationships are bound to develop and prosper, resulting in marriage. Being of different races makes no difference in the world of love. Love has no boundaries and rises above everything else.
And when a woman lets a man be the gentleman he always wanted to be, without being critical of him for it, it's easy to understand why he likes it.
The people who make the comments because there are two different races in marriage are the ones who are losing out. They cannot open their eyes or do not know how to open their eyes and have never been to a different country for any length of time. They are blinded by their own light and can't see past the shadows they create.
