The money will go toward special photography workshops for residents of Anjali House, a registered Cambodian NGO providing food, shelter and education for under privileged children.

"There were many new first-time foodies at our feast and we hope you all enjoyed the experience as much as the team enjoyed hosting you,” said founder Xixi Cheng by e-mail.

BJ Foodies has been running since 2008, hosting its first dinner to raise funds to help victims of the Sichuan earthquake. Since then, it has raised tens of thousands of yuan for various charities.
