All systems go in Ordos as meeting focuses on AI game

The first World AI Go Open will kick off in Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Wednesday, attracting dozens of research teams from home and abroad. The event is organized by the International Go Federation and the Chinese Go Association. China has been the world's biggest producer of industrial robots for three consecutive years, accounting for 25 percent of global production.

The fishing season in the South China Sea will start on Wednesday. An annual fishing ban has been introduced to protect fish stocks and the environment. The minimum duration of the fishing off-season in the country usually lasts three months every year.
