Another Youth Day has slipped away. What stupid and crazy things did you do in your youthful days? Let's reminisce about those carefree days when we were young. China Daily cell phone readers share their views with us.
When I was 18, I fell in love with a boy playing basketball who was a senior at my school, however, I barely knew him. What I did was just cheer him when he was playing games, or daydream in class about him or search for his figure in the hall. On school sports day that year, since I cannot face him in person, I asked a friend to send my hand-made 365 stars to him as best wishes, but it turned out that one star was missing, finally, I put the one star personally in his hand with my heart racing ...it is pure love, no regret for youth.

Fan Xiaoxuan, a famous pop singer, cut her hair short. So there were six of us in my class who got the same hair cut and took photos together. Cool youth days!

When I was in university, dyed hair was popular. The guys in my dorm wanted to be fashionable but we were poor then, so we dyed our hair with the inks and pigments used for traditional Chinese painting. It obviously did not work, before we got to show off our hair, we ruined our clothes and even our blankets and sheets with paint. What a smell of ink!

When I was at university, whenever we saw flyers in the self-study rooms, we would collect them for waste paper and we collected empty beverage bottles to make money. Although we had to hide such "trash" in the restroom during inspections, we paid for small items, like mops and brooms, with that trash. Those were funny days that I miss now.

When I was in middle school, I liked a senior fellow in high school. I used to rush out of classroom to the place he put his bike, just so I could "walk" with him to the school gate. I was laughing at him since I had furtively released the air in his tires. At festivals I would put some candies in his bag. A long time has passed since then, but it was really a pure and simple time.

During my youth, I went on a rail trip with several friends. Although we didn't get tickets with seats, we kept talking and stayed up to the middle night for seven or eight hours. Suddenly one of my friends said: "We've arrived". However, as soon as we got off the train we realized that it was the wrong stop. Without a guide and cellphones, we just walked along the track in the darkness to our destination... Finally we arrived at daybreak. Cherish those days.

It was the last year of my undergraduate days, my girlfriend of four years suddenly told me that she had fallen in love with someone else. I was extremely upset and in order to change her mind, I jumped from the window of my dorm on second floor, planning to break my legs and lie outside the dorm all night. I was crazy for love.
