Wase Town by Erhai Lake

Erkuai, also called Baba, a kind of snack made of sticky rice, is one of the 18 local specialties in Yunnan. Erkuai is cooked in this way: firstly, put steamed rice balls on the marble slab and knead them by hand into the shape of a pie, and then stuff the pies with white sugar, walnut, sesame paste, chili paste and other seasonings and bake them with charcoal fire.
