Singapore is aggressively tackling their low birth rate problem. The country spends around $1.3 billion annually on trying to convince its citizens to get busy, including offering $15,000 in parental packages for each child, tax incentives, and extended maternity leave. Despite all the perks, the fertility rate in Singapore stood at 1.19 last year.
