Would you pack instant noodles when traveling abroad?

I do like Chinese instant noodles. It seems fine to me. Sure, the tourists should try local foods too; but we all have our favorite "comfort foods". And eating on public transit is fine if it is done neatly and without excessive slurping-noises! (Mind you, I've noticed much such slurping from Chinese!)
