What is going wrong with Chinese higher education?

Jimilaoshi, I am sorry to know that you are leaving China though you genuinely love it. Based on your personal experience, you present a terribly gloomy picture of Chinese education, which we Chinese take for granted and have got accustomed to. As a Chinese and an English teacher, I have to admit many aspects of China are far from satisfactory because this imperfect community has still kept its characteristics despite what it has developed and absorbed from the rest of the world all the time. May you unravel the shadow cast by the unpleasant educational experiences and develop yourself and understand the world in a more comfortable way.
