What do you think of China's efforts to end poverty?

Developing countries always seem to find this a huge problem; the widening gaps between very rich and very poor. As China has developed rapidly, making some of the riches people in the world, questions about social and financial problems are inevitable. China’s vow to reduce poverty by 10 million is encouraging.

Since 2016, local government in Gufang village take targeted measures in poverty alleviation work. The infrastructures, such as roads, houses and solar power lamps, were constructed and new industries were introduced in the village, which changed the village dramatically. Fish ponds, greenhouses as well as orchards boosted local agricultural economy. Improved environment in the village also attracted many migrant workers to come back for farming and tourism business.
