Storm Parma churns south China, 3 dead

A fishing boat with nine fishermen on board capsized in strong winds off the coast of Wanning City Monday morning. Rescuers have recovered three bodies, a spokesman with the Hainan Provincial Emergency Response Office said. In addition to Hainan, Parma brought winds and rains to coastal areas of Guangdong, Fujian and Taiwan provinces. [CFP]
