The Jinhua Architecture Park in Jinhua city of East China's Zhejiang province, costing 30 million yuan, opened to the public in 2007 to exhibit 17 pieces of architecture designed by famous artists and architects from seven countries including the US, Germany, Japan and the Netherlands. According to the initial intention, it was planned to be built as a key tourism site and a cultural addition to the city. However, it has now almost become a lost land without any maintenance. People living nearby and entering the park do not even understand what these 'strange-shaped structures' are and why they are built likes this. Meanwhile they pay no attention to them as architectural works of art. |
