Shandong governor meets American ambassador

Shandong governor Jiang Daming met with American ambassador Jon Huntsman at the US-Shandong Business and Cultural Exchange Week which was held in east China's Shandong province on November 24.
Jiang said Shandong Province and the United States face the same issues of energy and climate change and that the two should cooperate in these fields and intensify cultural communication.
Jon Huntsman said the United States will strengthen its cooperation with Shandong Province. "Shandong is the hometown of Confucius and Confucianism influenced the world a lot." said Huntsman.
