Citi expands network in Chongqing

Citi Expands Branch Network in China, Opens in Chongqing Citibank (China) Co., Ltd. ("Citi China") has opened a branch in Chongqing.

It is the company's ninth branch in China, and its second in the country to strive for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

The branch offers banking and wealth management services to both corporate and individual customers in and around Chongqing.

"Citi has an unmatched international presence in financial services, and China remains one of our priority markets. We are committed to continuing to invest in China over time, and we are delighted to be opening a branch in the city of Chongqing," Said William Rhodes, a Citigroup senior vice chairman.

LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building was designed and built to improve energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, indoor environmental quality, stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
