Eastern Airlines open route to Dubai

A Boeing 767-300 jet of China Eastern Airlines (CEA) roared off the runway at Kunming International airport in Yunnan and after flying seven hours the plane landed at Dubai international airport marking the formal opening of an international air passage between the two cities.

On the Kunming-Dubai route, CEA weekly flies three flights on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The wide-body 260-seat Boeing 767-300 has a flying time of about 8 hours. CEA Yunnan Branch’s destination cities now adds up to 63.
