Yunnan conference draws worldwide attendance

The 6th World Conference for Yunnan Natives is running in Lincang ,southwest China's Yunnan province,from April 27 to 30.
Nearly 200 Yunnan natives from overseas and over 30 overseas celebrities of Yunnan are attending. The party chief of Lincang, Yang Hongpo, said Yunnan natives are the fifth largest overseas Chinese group.
There are more than two millions Yunnan natives, scattered in more than 70 countries and regions. Lincang has 150,000 former residents living in Southeast Asia, the Americas, Europe and Pacific Ocean countries.
Located in the southwest of Yunnan Province, Lincang City sits along the Lancang River. Visitors can enjoy Wengding Village, a well preserved Wa village in Cangyuan, and the Cloud Sea of Washan Mountain.
