Its energy consumption is significantly lower than halogen or xenon lamps, which helps save energy. The use of technology in the brand-new C-class is particularly prominent in the new exterior and interior. Formerly concealed in the center control panel, the full-color touch screen is placed above the control station, just like the A-class, and it is now a new handwriting touch tablet. The tablet can recognize major languages, including Chinese, as well as digits and letters, enabling drivers to click or swipe it the way they do with iPhones or iPads, and get feedback through vibration.
