A series of activities themed with "A Visit to the Birthplace of China" was initiated in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, on January 23, 2015.

More than 40 journalists from official Chinese websites will visit Jingdezhen for two days.

Jingdezhen, a capital of ceramics in China, is eulogized as "the source of the Maritime Silk Road". In English, "China" indicates the country with the letter "C" capitalized, while "china" means ceramics or porcelain. It is interesting for an English word to have the same spelling as a country.
