Electricity giant employs solar power management system
On sunny days, NR Electric, a company that offers solutions for power generation, transmission and distribution, is now able to generate electricity itself without relying on the national power supplier, State Grid.
This ability is realized via an integrated system of the photovoltaic power generation and a battery energy storage system. The surplus electricity the system generates is set aside for civil use. The picture below shows a big screen that displays real-time monitoring of the system.

Statistics show that NR’s products account for over 45 percent of the market share at home and are exported to more than 80 countries and regions in the world. The company has made many contributions to key national projects, including the Beijing Olympics and the Shanghai Expo.
