The zone has 415 high-tech enterprises at the national level, over 300 research institutes, 160 State-owned and Beijing research institutes, 10 State research labs, and 23 post-doc work sites, with more than 3,000 entrepreneurs with an overseas education who have set up businesses. Of these 50 are members of the state's human resource Global Expert Recruitment Program, or a quarter of the city's total.
