Discounts on new air route

Yunnan Xiangpeng Airlines has introduced its winter and spring promotion on Oct 21 with discounts on various routes.

Flights to launch Anqing-Wuhan

Starting on October 27, airports in East China's Anhui province will follow a winter-spring flight schedule. Meanwhile, China Eastern Airlines (CEA) will launch flights between the province's Anqing and Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province.

New air route to link Lijiang-Guilin

A new air route from Lijiang in Yunnan province to Ningbo in Zhejiang province, with a stop in Guilin, the well-known tourism city in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, will begin operation on Nov 1.

By Bicycle

Renting a bicycle: it is most convenient to travel by foot or bicycle in the old quarter.

By Train

Construction on the train from Lijiang to Dali has already started and the section from Dali to Kunming started in early 2009.

By Bus

Most buses in Lijiang city are conductorless, and cost 1 yuan. Another mini van is as convenient as a taxi with the price of 1 yuan.

By Airline

Usually tourists choose to first fly to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province, and then fly or take a bus to Lijiang.
