| Dover, a major ferry port facing France across the narrowest part of the English Channel, made with French fries, or chips, Feb 19. UK artist Prudence Staite led her team to create a series of British landmarks using chips, a favorite potato snack in Britain, to celebrate the UK’s National Chip Week, from Feb 17 to 23, 2014. The team used 10 kg of chips to build the iconic sculptures, with six months of planning, trial and careful model construction. [Photo/icpress.cn] |
