Bayi regains title of Chinese women's basketball league

NINGBO, Southeast China - Bayi Dabo defeated Liaoning Hengye 92-68 on Sunday to regain the title of the Chinese Basckettball Association women's league (WCBA) after a three straight win in the best-three-of-five finals of the 2007-08 season on Sonday.

The victory made Bayi win their fifth title in the league, which began in 2002. They won the champion from 2002 to 2005 but lost it to Liaoning in 2006.

Chen Na led the four double-digit winners in scoring with a game-high 31 points and nine rebounds, her teammates Sui Feifei added 25 points.

Ma Zengyu scored 15 points for Liaoning and Wang Ling had 12 points.

Bayi dominated the game when they finished third period with 67-48 following a 36 tie.

Bayi led the halftime with 37-36.
