The second seed smashed Bouchard 6-3, 6-2 in one hour, just like their meetings in last year's semifinal game of the French Open.
It took the Russian only one hour to beat Bouchard. The 27-year-old Russian broke four times totally in two sets, which made the rising star Bouchard accept her four straight loss from Sharapova.
"I just tried to keep my ground. I knew she was going to go at it and be aggressive," Sharapova said.
The Russian veteran will face her compatriot Ekaterina Makarova in the semis. She will strive for her sixth Grand Slam title.
