WASHINGTON - The Chicago Bulls announced Monday that they have traded swingman Tony Snell to the Milwaukee Bucks for guard Michael Carter-Williams.
"We're excited to add Michael to our roster," Bulls general manager Gar Forman said in a statement. "He is a two-way player who adds versatility and depth to our backcourt rotation."
Carter-Williams was drafted 11th overall in the 2013 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers and he was named NBA Rookie of the Year in 2014. On February 19, 2015, he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team deal involving the Phoenix Suns.
Carter-Williams averaged 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game last season with the Bucks.
