Qingdao shrimp scandal
During this year's National holiday, a report emerged that a local seafood stall in East Shandong's coastal city Qingdao was charging 38 yuan ($6) for a shrimp, an obvious overcharging that fuelled public rage over the lack of effective legislative measures to curb ripping off in scenic attractions and better protection of consumer rights.
