China's "comedy king" Zhao Benshan said none of his family has emigrated to Singapore, the West China City News reported.
Zhao was shooting a TV series in a village in Liaoning province when he received the reporter's phone call. "Life gets dull, they need to make news and I'm targeted," Zhao joked. He said his wife is only accompanying their children while they are studying in Singapore.
The online rumor of Zhao's emigration comes in the aftermath of a recent lawsuit in Singapore. Zhao's wife Ma Lijuan sued for the price of a Porsche she sold to Primelink Motoring in Singapore after she and the children moved there four years ago.
